Mom: Murder suspect, 8, 'loved his dad'

Summary
An 8 year old Arizona boy shot and killed his father and his fathers' housemate. The mother of the 8 year old boy said she saw a scared little boy. That he is a typical 8 year old who likes to ride his dirt bike, skateboard and be a typical kid. The video of his confession reveals that he confessed to what he did and to protect him his mother said that he loved his father very much and that they spent a lot of time together. Saying they were very close and the boy acted on fear. The judge of this case plans to release the boy to spend thanksgiving with his mother and then go back to being held.
Opinion
Well this is a very shady case in my opinion. If the boy was so close to his father why would he shoot him. I dont know if the mother is trying to protect him or if she is in denial. I think that she is leading the public to believe that maybe the father did something terrible to the boy and he was scared so he decided to shoot and kill his father. But on the video the boy didn't seem like her knew what he has done. He played it off to be a casual deal. I think that something is unresolved in this case. I think there needs to be a further investigation.
