Obama says he didn't know aunts illegal status

Summary
On Saturday Presidential canidate Barrack Obama said that he did not know anything about his aunts illegal status in the United States. Zeituni Onyango, is the half sister of Obamas late father. She is native of Kenya was supposed to leave the United States four years ago. Is living in public housing the Boston. Obama says that all of the laws will be followed. Obamas campaign was quick to respond in saying that Obama had no knowledge of his aunts illegal status here in the U.S.
Opinion
I think that this might drive some people away from Obama. It kind of makes Obama seem more of an outsider. He may not have known about his aunts status or he could have and made some adjustments so that she could stay in America. I am not sure what it is but i think that Obama might lose a few votes with this issue coming up so close to the election. It also shows that America is full of diversity and that diversity might not help him win presidency. He definatly has a different background than most of our former presidents and that may be what we need, or it may not.
